Refresh Alexandria, a Wellness Collective promotes wellness through yoga and martial arts. Refresh Alexandria has three components: Yoga (Refresh Yoga), and Karate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Alexandria Soo Do Kwan). These programs are managed by the owner of the collective, Lindsey Canale (email@example.com). Yoga for Health
The repetitive nature and high level of contact involved with both Karate and Jiu-Jitsu have the potential to cause injury. We believe that yoga is a great way to restore some bodily balance and prevent injury. Jiu-Jitsu complements Karate, and yoga compliments both. Yoga classes are usually just before the martial arts classes during the week. On Sundays, Hyun Kwak (HK) teaches a Vinyasa class right after our open mat. Please join her for a great way to end your workout. Lindsey has class just before Monday’s Karate class. That might be a great way to limber up and get focuses before Karate class.
